The recovered carbon fibers have lengths of 3 to 100 mm. The excellent properties of carboNXT chopped are similar to those of a new fiber. The cut fibers are therefore ideally suited for the production of bulk and sheet moulding compounds (BMC/SMC) or carbon fiber fleeces (veil/non-woven). They are also used in injection moulding.
